Christmas Tree Festival

Christmas Tree Festival 2023

at St Chad’s church

Everyone is welcome on Friday 15th December 6.30pm to the  Christmas Tree Festival opening ceremony; there will be a short service led by Rev’d Sam followed by the Gallery Singers. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served.

The Christmas Tree festival will be open from Saturday 16th January until 3rd January 2024

Over 10,000 people visited St Chad’s last year to look around the trees. It’s a special experience, with some beautifully decorated Christmas trees in the wonderful ambience of St. Chad’s; a real Christmastide treat for all.

Admission will be free, as always, to this year’s spectacular display of decorated and illuminated Christmas trees on the ground and upper gallery of St Chad’s church. Viewing is daily throughout most of December and early January.

This year’s festival performances include:

Saturday 16th December: 10am Windband and at 1pm Footlights Dance School performance.

Wednesday 20th 10am: Woodfield School Christmas Tree Festival performance, all are warmly invited.

Saturday 23rd December 11am: Holly Teague’s “All is Bright” Voice & Piano recital with coffee & cake served from 10.45am

All performances are free with donations welcome to the Christmas Tree festival
