Final Wishes. As we journey through life with its many ups and downs, we often bury our head in the sand when it comes to preparing our ‘final wishes.’ Death, Dying, funerals etc are the last thing we want to think about. However, as one who has conducted over 250 final services, I know the importance of preparation, particularly for our loved ones left behind. So from September, The Rev Sam has asked me to run a course exploring our ‘Final Wishes’, when we can share together over a cup of tea and light refreshments, our experiences of life, dying and death. Each session will run from 2.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in St Chad’s Church Hall and I intend to invite professionals to some of the meetings to help us prepare and maybe answer some of our questions. The dates for your diary are 24th September, 8th , 22nd October, 5th, 19th November and finishing with a bring and share lunch on 17th December. If you would like to join me or would like further information, please contact me via the office. The Rev Mary Fearnside
